Bicycles turning right onto the Ames Street 2-way lane must do so during the green bicycle signal phase (concurrent with the through vehicle movement on Broadway). We cannot post an EXCEPT BIKES sign at this approach, as a bike turning right onto the bike lane would cross the path of other moving vehicles when the bike signal is red.

What about Ames St itself (not the 2-way lane)? I'm trying to get into the "Yellow Garage" on Ames Place so I cannot use the 2-way lane as it's on the wrong side of the street.

You can turn right onto Ames Street in the travel lane either during the bike phase or the right turn phase.
