Markings were refreshed along Hampshire St this year, though we do know that there are small stretches where parked cars prevented the lines from being installed. Normal maintenance activities will address this over time. In the photo that you have added to your request, the vehicle is illegally parked in front of a driveway/access gate for the electrical substation, so the markings are correct in this instance.

Reopening for clarification.

On the rest of Hampshire St most (all?) of the driveways appear to have a solid white line on either side of the bike lane. In fact, nearly everywhere else I look I see white marking lines continuing past driveways, they're only stopped or dashed for bus stops or intersections. Are you sure that the markings at this location are correct?

If the markings are correct here as is (...and incorrect on the rest of Hampshire St?), would it be possible to put some sort of "No Parking" pavement markings down in front of the driveway? I see many Uber//Lyft/etc trying to use this space in the same way as pictured above and they generally obstruct the bike lane in the same way as well.

Thank you for your request. While the markings here do not fully align with our current practice, they are not atypical for bike lanes. As was said in the previous case closure comment, normal maintenance activities will fill in these gaps where they exist.
