No matter how many signs you post, some people are not going to notice. This process was implemented by the city because they had trouble with people not realizing it was street cleaning day. On my street we've had to wake people up before their cars get towed because they forgot. Ticketing people also takes up employee time.

You think its not important because bikers dont apply to this announcemet. Screw them too - they're a neusance - and I suspect you are too.

Move back to LA or whever you came from

I hope the police ticket all these law breaking bikers this spring - we dont see enough of that happening. You are the nastiest demographic

I find the service useful, and it’s saved me a few times from my car being towed. Some percentage of people are always going to forget about street parking. The loudspeaker reduces that percentage, and allows more streets to be cleaned.

Agree with commenters that this city provided service is needed and much appreciated. No idea why this transplant is complaining when they probably won't even be living here in a few years.
