This is not a case where some driver had no other choice and had to use this spot to pick up or deliver something.
This just shows that lack of enforcement has taught drivers that they can get away with whatever they want even with police right there.
This lack of enforcement is also more and more apparent by drivers ignoring crosswalks and red lights and forcing pedestrians off the road.

The driveway is private property.
People have to go about their business. Harvard Square is a major dragola. There’s got to be some give and take. Operators of pedaled vehicles are competent enough to go around somebody.
I get that people aren’t perfectly moral and the bike lanes conflict with people living their lives and conducting business.
Bike lanes are helpful without being perfectly inviolable.

the driveway was part of the building where the driver had business so he can use it. I agree that there has to be a compromise and a give and take (i hinted at that in my post before). However my larger point was that I see way more drivers park in bike lanes without there being a need to do that as there is often parking within 30 foot. And there are multiple business that use bike lanes as their business parking lot despite them having dedicates parking spots just a few feet away. On JFK street I see many drivers stopping in the bike lane although right next to them is a parking spot. They are just to lazy to pull into the parking spot and rather block the bike lane. That is very annoying and dangerous during rush hour for bikers. All of these cases are not a result of bike lanes cutting off access of businesses or homes from the street. They are a result of lazy drivers knowing that there are no consequences. Even if we revamp the bike lanes to a better compromise with cars and businesses (I think that is necessary), drivers will block the bike lanes that will remain.
