Description

The traffic signals at Prospect/Mass Ave and at Western/Green St. need to be adjusted to prevent Western Ave. traffic backing up across Mass. Ave. This is a problem at all times of day that frequently causes eastbound traffic on Mass. Ave. to be unable to proceed through the intersection on a green light. I understand that motorists should not be entering an intersection unless they're sure they won't be caught in the intersection, but it is a reasonable assumption that the light at Green Street should not be causing this blockage. Please adjust the signal timing at Green Street to make sure that all of the traffic can clear the Prospect/Mass. Ave. intersection.
