A rogue company from Mattapan has been illegally installing signs around Cambridge, including this egregious example where they nailed their advertising sign to a live City tree at the corner of Fayette Street and Broadway. The phone number and name of the company is right there on the sign. Removal of the sign is not sufficient penalty. There should be fines and a demand that they remove all of their illegally posted signs - and especially this one. Any damage to the tree should also be addressed.
